ESC 2030 AW: 0→1 x 1646

The next chapter of the ESC open call is upon us! As we anticipate an increasingly digital future, 0→1 challenges artists to craft art as if it were a decade from now. This wave aims to explore the intricate relationship between nature and technology, as well as how these elements shape our human perspectives.

For this edition, we’re excited to partner with 1646  ), a hub for contemporary experimental art. Curated by Clara Pallí Monguilod and Johan Gustavsson, 1646 is a unique space that places a strong emphasis on enabling artists to create new, site-specific projects.

The ESC for Autumn/Winter 2030 is a collaborative effort, brought to life by the curatorial expertise of both 1646 and 0→1.

The call for submissions concludes on January 20. Artists selected for this wave will be notified via email and their works will be displayed in an online exhibition on 0→1, set to go live on February 1.
