Spanish contemporary artist Jorge Isla in his art practice focuses on observing and analyzing reality as well as on the modes of production and consumption of contemporary society. His works are a meeting point between sculpture, video art, and photography.
In his series of works Le Reflet, Jorge Isla critically reviews the use of today’s technologies and proposes a narrative based on imposing physicality. Through the accumulation of mobile screens, a metaphor of the black mirror or a reflection of contemporary society is suggested.
