Terms & Conditions
Using the website: 0-1.gallery can be used for personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes. Please do not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, or commercially use material from the website without permission. Images, artworks and texts: Copyright in artworks and photographs remains with the credited artist, photographer or other rights holder unless stated otherwise. Original texts, design and material produced by 0—1 remain the property of 0—1. If something needs to be reproduced beyond simply sharing a link, ask first. Submissions and Open Calls: Submitting work does not transfer copyright to 0—1. By submitting, the applicant confirms that they created the material or have permission to submit it. If selected, 0—1 may use the submitted images, text, and project information to present, document, and promote the relevant project through the website, newsletter, press, and social media, with credits where supplied. Any sale, licensing, printed reproduction or other use beyond this is agreed separately, unless the specific Open Call clearly says otherwise before applying. Each Open Call may have additional rules. Those specific rules take priority for that call. Selection is curatorial, and we cannot always provide individual feedback. Information on the website: We try to keep dates, credits, availability and other information correct and current. Mistakes can happen, and programme details may change. When an important change affects an application, order or confirmed participation, we will communicate it directly where possible. External links: 0—1 sometimes links to artists, galleries, institutions and other websites. Those websites are operated independently, and their content and privacy practices are outside our control. Orders: When the Shop is available, we show prices, product details, and any specific conditions before checkout. Shipping and returns follow the rules in the Shipping & Returns section. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights. Changes: We may update these terms when the website or 0—1's activities change. The current version and update date will always be shown here. These terms are governed by Dutch law, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply under local or EU law. Privacy
What we collect: 0—1 collects only information needed to run the website and its activities. This can include a name, email address, and information submitted through an Open Call, contact form, newsletter signup, or order. The website may also receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, security logs and cookie data. If payments are enabled, payment details are handled by the payment provider. 0—1 does not store full card details. Why we use it: Personal data may be used to process applications, respond to messages, manage exhibitions and other projects, fulfil orders, send requested newsletters, keep the website secure and understand how the website is used. Depending on the purpose, this is based on consent, fulfilling an order or agreement, a legal obligation, or 0—1's legitimate interest in operating the platform. Newsletter: Newsletter emails are sent only after signup. Unsubscribing is possible at any time through the link in every newsletter. Cookies and analytics: Essential cookies may be used when they are needed for the website to function. Non-essential analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels are only activated after consent. Cookie preferences can be changed or withdrawn later. Who receives data: We do not sell personal data. Information may be processed by services needed to operate 0—1, such as website hosting, email and newsletter services, application forms, payment providers, shipping services and analytics tools. They receive only the information needed to provide that service. Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is used. How long we keep it: Information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the reason it was collected. Newsletter information is kept until unsubscribe. Application information is kept while the selection and relevant project are being managed. Public exhibition and editorial records may remain as part of the 0—1 archive. Order and accounting information may need to be retained for the period required by Dutch tax law. Your rights: Under GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, or request a copy of your data where applicable. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. For a privacy request, email info@0-1.gallery.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping: Orders are currently shipped within the European Union. Available destinations and shipping costs are shown at checkout. Dispatch timing is shown with the product or order confirmation where applicable. Tracking information is sent when the shipping service provides it. Returns: An eligible order can be returned within 30 days of delivery without giving a reason. To start a return, use the return/cancellation option provided with the order or contact info@0-1.gallery. The item should be returned in the condition in which it was received, with its original packaging where reasonably possible. It can be inspected as it would be in a shop, but use or handling beyond that may affect the refund if it reduces the item's value. Return shipping: Return shipping is paid by the customer when an item is simply no longer wanted. If the item arrived damaged, faulty, or incorrect, 0—1 covers the reasonable return costs. For an eligible return, the item price and standard original delivery charge are refunded. Additional delivery costs for a more expensive shipping option are not refunded. Refunds: Refunds are made to the original payment method. A refund may be held until the returned item is received or proof of return is provided. Damaged or incorrect orders: If something arrives damaged or the wrong item was sent, contact info@0-1.gallery as soon as possible and include photographs of the item and packaging where relevant. Exceptions: Some items may legally be excluded from the normal right of return, for example, a clearly personalised or made-to-order item. Any exception will be stated before purchase. A limited edition is not automatically excluded from returns simply because it is limited. Cancelling before dispatch: If an order has not yet been dispatched, use the cancellation option or contact 0—1. If it has already been sent, the normal return process applies.
